Titanes del Caribe 2023

The "Titanes del Caribe" event in November 2023 at Citi Field in New York was a significant success, attracting approximately 30,000 fans per game, with a total attendance of around 90,000 over the three games. This exhibition series featured two of the most iconic Dominican baseball teams, Tigres del Licey and Águilas Cibaeñas, in a vibrant celebration of Dominican culture.

 

The event also had a strong economic impact, with ticket prices ranging from $70 to $420, and both teams reportedly received $1.32 million for their participation. The series was not just a sports event but a cultural festival, featuring concerts and other activities celebrating Dominican heritage.
